It is funny, how the universe sometimes works. I made a list before starting to blog, on where I want to blog about and every day something happens, that fits perfectly to that days topic.
Today I wanted to talk about a wonderful blend called On Guard Protective Blend. I’m writing this, while babysitting my niece, because my sister in law is taking the baby to the doctor for a little infection. Today we learned, that it is a very rare side effect on teething, but it is possible to have an infection at the place where the teeth are coming through. That is what my little nephew has.
On Guard Protective Blend is a perfect blend for that. This blend has been researched a lot on his antiviral and antibacterial properties. It has been proven to fight illnesses like the flu and MRSA. But can be very effective for small infections too.
You won’t be surprised about it, if I tell you what oils are used to make it. It contains Wild Orange, Clove, Cinnamon, Eucalyptus Radiata and Rosemary . Every single of this oils have very strong antiviral and antibacterial properties. And personally, I just LOVE the way it smells. It reminds me a bit of Christmas. But it is still a very potent antibacterial oil.
I love to diffuse it in the fall and winter, when everybody around is getting to protect me and my family. When diffused, it neutralizes all the germs and bacteria in the air. With a drop of the oil under the feet, I support the immune system. Also helpful with little infections, to help the natural defense system of your body.
One of the ways I love to use this oil, is melting some chocolate (best is 72% of higher) and add 1 drop of the oil. I use 1 drop on 1 chocolate bar. Then put it an mold or some baking paper and put it in the fridge. I still dream about putting the warm chocolate over some vanilla ice cream, so I really have to try it once. It is a nice way to help children working on their immune support.
Some of the ailments you can use the oil for are bladder infections, cold sores, hypoglycemia, scabies, pneumonia, candida, fungus nails and warts (work wonders on our son), sore throat and staph infections.
One of the reasons I like essentials oils, is that it doesn’t only work on the physical plain, it helps emotional also. Emotional, this is really an oil of protection. It helps with negative emotions like feeling attacked, unprotected, vulnerable, susceptibility to peer pressure. This blend helps to feel protected, capable, boundaries, integrity, independent, reinforced and strength.
I always have a little bottle with me, everywhere I go. It is nice to use it as a hand wash when I’m on the go. With a kid, you never know what happens! I also like to clean my countertop in the kitchen with this oil. It is nice to know, me and my family are well protected, without all those chemicals which are used in so many commercial (cleaning) products.
But after talking about the chocolate, I know want to have some. So I’m off to make some. Wishing you a protected day.
To your health,
PS I only use the doTerra oils in my home. I know these oils are safe and 100% pure. Since I don’t know the quality of any other oil company, everything I write about purity and usage only apply to doTerra oils.
PS2 when your kids are smaller or you have sensitive skin, please dilute the oil more. For the use of oils on animals: the smaller the animal, the more you need to dilute the oil.
PS3 Yes you can use On Guard on dogs. Clove is can be a bit hard for a cat, so let them decide f they like it or not. As a cat owner, you know you can’t make a cat do, what it doesn’t like to do.
PS4 you can get all these oils and many more at the shop. Do you want an extra discount? Click here and save 25% off right away and this order (and every following order).Let me know if you need any assistance.
